May all of our being open

to the flow of your love 

May the flow of our love rise to greet you

And our love unite 

May we be reminded 
That we were created

 To be in relationship with you

To be in relationship with ourselves
With humanity and all of creation

May joy, love, compassion
Mercy and peace

Justice and hope 
Acceptance and reverence 

May waves of your grace 

Rise within the flow of our blood

And flow from every ounce of our beings

Flow from our eyes 
And seep through our pores

May grace lie warm upon our flesh

And its song hum within our bones

May all of our being open

to the flow of your love

Readying for Communion 

Soon I will rise to meet you

Soon it will be time

Time to make ready my head and hands

To anoint my lips and fingers with nectar

Purify word and deed

Re-open and make ready my heart

Soon you will meet me

I will cup my hands

Let them in this moment be Holy Grail

I will dip them in the water

And drink deeply

You quench my thirst

Soon we will meet at the altar

Of Heart and Head

And of Body and Soul

I will gather wheat

With hands that long to serve

With hands that know they belong to you

And with my hands


I will break bread and share your love
